Topside Studios DIY Event Package

Perfect for Parties, Showers, Celebrations & Special Events

Our DIY Event Package gives you exclusive access to Topside Studios, allowing you to create the event exactly the way you envision it.

Accommodates up to 50 guests

Tables & Seating

  • 4 round tables (4-foot diameter)
  • 2 rectangular tables (6-foot)
  • 6 rectangular tables (8-foot)
  • 8 high-top cocktail tables (3-foot round)
  • 4 standard-height cocktail tables (3-foot round)

Venue Access

Renters have access to the building from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on the day of their event.

Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming subscriptions. Topside Studios provides YouTube access only.

DIY Package Information

This is a Do-It-Yourself event package, meaning you provide your own decorating, setup, hosting, and cleanup.

A cleaning checklist will be provided to ensure the venue is left ready for the next event.

Pricing

Packages start at $400.

All rentals include a refundable damage deposit, which will be returned after the venue has been inspected and confirmed clean and free of damage.

Optional Add-On

Bounce House & Water Slide Package: $75 (together) $50 (individual)

Additional fee covers equipment wear and tear, electricity, and water usage.

Important Information

  • Events with more than 50 guests require a custom quote.
  • A liability waiver and venue rules will be emailed prior to your event and must be accepted before access to the building is granted.
  • Customized event packages are available.

Our sign says "Welcome to Alcoa" because we are located near the Louisville and Alcoa city line, making us a convenient central location for guests traveling from Knoxville, Alcoa, Maryville, and surrounding areas.

We are also located just minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport.

What Are Your Hours?

We do not maintain set business hours.

Venue tours, event bookings, and consultations are available by appointment only. We strive to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to meet your event needs.

You may contact us anytime by phone, text, email, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram. We are very responsive and typically reply quickly. If you do not receive a response within 24 business hours, please reach out again.

What Types of Events Are Best Suited for Topside Studios?

Topside Studios is perfect for intimate gatherings and events with fewer than 100 guests.

  • Comfortable capacity: Up to 80 guests
  • Maximum capacity: 100 guests
  • Parking accommodates approximately 50 vehicles

Our venue is fully handicap accessible, making it ideal for guests of all ages and mobility levels.

To make loading and unloading easier, we provide a rolling cart for renter use. The cart may be used to transport decorations, gifts, supplies, and other event items from the parking lot to the building. We simply ask that it be returned to its designated storage area after use.

What If I Need a Larger or Customized Event?

We understand that every event is unique.

If your guest count exceeds our standard package limits or if you would like a customized event setup, we are happy to provide a personalized quote.

Why Is There a Refundable Damage Deposit for a DIY Event?

Our DIY package allows renters to decorate, host their event, and clean up afterward.

A refundable damage deposit is included with every rental. After your event, the venue will be inspected to ensure it has been cleaned and no damage has occurred.

If the venue is left clean and in good condition, the deposit will be fully refunded.

If excessive cleaning is required or damage occurs during the rental period, all or a portion of the deposit may be retained to cover labor, repairs, or replacement costs.

If damages exceed the deposit amount, the renter will be responsible for any additional costs associated with repairs or replacement.

 

Is There a Cancellation Fee?

Yes.

A $150 cancellation fee applies to all canceled reservations.

We understand that plans can change, and we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your event. Whenever availability allows, we will gladly work with you to move your reservation to a different date.

For canceled events, all payments made toward the venue rental will be refunded minus the $150 cancellation fee.

We appreciate your understanding, as cancellations affect venue scheduling and the opportunity to accommodate other events.
